Plasma Drifter is an original top-down arena shooter set inside the Driftstream, a microscopic sci-fi ecosystem. Control a glowing modular plasma core: drift with momentum in any direction, aim independently, and fire on hostile cells that drop plasma motes. Motes magnet toward you and fill a mutation meter — when it peaks you evolve, first choosing one of five branches (Agile, Heavy, Balanced, Drone, or Leech), then stacking upgrade cards to build damage, fire rate, integrity, shields, piercing rounds, orbiting drones, and more. Each branch unlocks a distinct secondary ability — Blink Dash, Shockwave, Aegis Shield, Spore Convert, or Parasite Burst. Fight through six escalating biozones packed with chasers, spitters, splitters, shield cells, burst cells, mine seeders, leeches, drone hosts, and Prism Warden elites, then survive the three-phase Apex Core boss. Features seeded procedural chambers, combo scoring, keyboard + mobile touch controls with a virtual joystick and aim pad, auto-fire and aim-assist options, screen-shake and reduce-motion accessibility settings, WebAudio sound, and browser auto-save with a resumable run.
